Presentation of the School:

The 12th edition of the CNRS Thematic School on Screening (ETC 2026) will take place at the Domaine du Lazaret in Sète, from 14 to 17 september 2026.

Our objective is to bring together academic research teams and screening platforms within a multidisciplinary training program covering chemistry, biology, bioinformatics, and statistics. This event will provide an opportunity to train new researchers and practitioners in the field, while also presenting new scientific and methodological approaches to participants who are already experienced.

 

The main topics addressed during the school will include:

• Fundamentals of screening and chemical libraries
• The different screening approaches: chemical, phenotypic, in silico, etc.
• The use and contributions of artificial intelligence
• Post-screening analyses (hit to lead)
• Statistical analyses specific to screening
• Technology transfer and patents, FAIR principles & data management

The lectures will be delivered primarily in French, in plenary sessions as well as in small-group workshops.

Participants in the screening school will be accommodated on a full-board basis on site from September 14 to 17, 2026.

As the number of places is limited, a pre-registration phase will be organized.
